Comment: ive tried a few times only caught a few in the same spot for 2 days. thats in my backyard during the super warm winter we had. no one ever thought there being holdovers there.

Comment: Right at the lochs by the parking lot. It's in Somerville by winter hill yacht club. First time trying for hold overs. I've done well there in my kayak in the summer.

Comment: how fast was the water running down there? I imagine the locks were open. I was at the dam between upper and lower lake, the water was flowing right over the spillway wall. Never seen it that high.
